In 2013, Wen's listed meat pigs are expected to reach 10.2 million, making it the largest pig producer in Asia and the second largest in the world. Wen's Group's listed pigs are all produced in the "company + farmer" model. The specific process is: the company provides piglets, feed, vaccines and technical services to the farmers, and the farmers build pig houses according to the company's standards, and follow the company's feeding management. The requirement is to raise the pigs for about 150 days until they reach about 110 kilograms, and then the company will sell the pigs to customers.

In 2012, Wen's pig farmers gained a total of 1.45 billion yuan in breeding benefits, with an average household breeding benefit of 87,800 yuan. As of November 2013, the accumulative profit of Wen's pig farmers was about 1.47 billion yuan, with an average of about 100,000 yuan per household.

At present, Wen's has deployed pig raising companies in 17 provinces (municipalities, autonomous regions) including Guangdong, Hainan, Jilin, and Inner Mongolia. After full production, there will be more than 30 million pigs on the market.

The group was founded in 1983.
